How to find Višnjan and Tican,
Croatia
LOCATION: 20 km from the cityes of Pazin and Porec.
JUNE CLIMATE: dry, 25 C day, 18 C night. All the night out is
a cold experience, bring warm clothes.
ACTIVITIES: Stars, Moon,Comet, planets... but also a lot of
daytime activities.
GETTING THERE: Follow the map. Once you arrive at Tican, go to
the registration desk and register for the camping or parking
place!
What To Bring:
- Tent (optional)
- Warm clothing, blankets, coat
- Raincoat or umbrela (yes, it rains too, we hope not ..)
- Ice chest(s)
- Swimsuit/towel (the sea is near)
- Mosquito Repellent, sunscreen
- Sheets, pillows, pillow cases, bath towels
- Personal toiletries, medicines
- Flashlight with red lense or cellophane
- Telescope and accessories
- Binoculars
- Cameras
- Tools
- Tarp/drop cloth to cover scope, and tie-downs
- Extension cord(s)
- Star charts and books
- Chairs, card table, observing tray
- FM/Walkman type radio including headphones
